…The more they stay the same. The Braxcave is two years old this week. Next month is the first anniversary of TheBraxcave.com. It’s a good time for redesign and honestly, this site looked like garbage in IE.
That being said, take this as a reminder to update your browser for improved security and the optimized net viewing.

I thought it might be fun to add a live chat. You can get there by clicking that new “Chat” tab as seen above. The Braxcave chat is not monitored by the government or ad agencies. The chat is intended for “comic fans who like movies.”

Transformers 2 writer, Roberto Orci has revealed that Soundwave will appear in the sequel to 2007’s Transformers. he also mentions the movie having a much larger budget and that he aimed to have a better balance of humans and Transformers on screen.

The third volume of the super hit Heroes started filming at the beginning of this month. This volume is called “Villains.” It will air September 15, 2008 with a three-hour premiere. The first hour will be a clip show of the first two seasons (Genesis and Generations). The final two hours are the actual the Heroes season premiere. NBC has released a promo for “Villains” online.

An article at The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that Matthew Vaughn is no longer directing Thor.

“Thor” will be released about six weeks after “Iron Man 2,” and Marvel is waiting for a script polish from scribe Mark Protosevich (”I Am Legend”). Matthew Vaughn no longer is attached to direct the project because his holding deal expired December.

“It’s very much a Marvel superhero story but against the backdrop of nothing you’ve seen before,” Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige said in describing “Thor” as a period fantasy in the vein of “The Lord of the Rings.”
