Update on Thor and Ant Man
Monday, March 10th, 2008 @ 6:57 am

Marvel has already revealed that they still intend to make a live screen version of Thor and Ant Man. Empire has caught up with directors Matthew Vaughn and Edgar Wright to talk about the upcoming Avengers movies.
Although things seem to be running at a slow pace for Matthew Vaughn and Thor he did have much to say including his ideas for casting. He says that Thor can’t be played by a star. He has to be an unknown.

Edgar Wright says Ant Man is written and now they are working on a second draft of it. He also says that it will be less overtly comedic than anything else he’s ever done. Not a superhero spoof or pastiche. Wright says the film will star two Marvel characters who become Ant Man, Scott Lang and Hank Pym. He has nobody in mind at this time to play these parts.

[…] I find this odd, if his deal expired in December why was he talking about Thor as recently as last March? […]
