Sarah Jayne Dunn dark knight Harley Quinn

About six months ago it was reported that Sarah Jayne Dunn has a secret role in The Dark Knight. Here on The Braxcave it was speculated that she was up for the part of Harley Quinn. Now it looks like this has been confirmed through her online resume at RDF Management.

Likely she will only be appearing as Dr. Harleen Quinzel setting things up for her to appear in a the third Batman film as her maniacal alter ego Harley Quinn.

One has to wonder if the plan for the third movie was to have more of the Joker along with Harley Quinn, and if that plan has changed with Heath Ledger passing away last month.

    She definitely has the looks to play Harley Quinn and I’d love to see the character in either Batman returns or Batman 3.

    Looks like postings on RDF Management isn’t so reliable.
    Sarah Jayne Dunn plays Maroni’s Mistress in The Dark Knight. I didn’t even notice her while watching the film.

    I totally didn’t notice her. Personally, I think Harley Quinn would have ruined the film if she made an appearance. She would have added a campyness that this movie doesn’t need.

    I even enjoyed how they introduced Gordon’s family, but didn’t show his daughter Barbara, or even her age to leave it open.

    She’s probably not going to be Harley, but even if she was, I wouldn’t be happy. They were able to revamp the Joker and make him much darker. Why could they not do that with Harley Quinn? Personally, I’d love a deranged teenage stalker but I’m probably in the minority there.

    Whatever they do, let’s hope Harley’s in it.
