The cast of X-Men Origins: Wolverine has just gotten even larger. Dominic Monaghan (LOTR, Lost) has been cast to play Barnell Bohusk aka Blackwing.
20th Century Fox has cast former Lost star Dominic Monaghan as Barnell Bohusk, aka Beak/Blackwing, in X-Men: Wolverine, sources reveal exclusively to JustJared.com.
Just Jared
Blackwing (formerly known as Beak) was a student at Xavier’s. He had a severe disfiguring mutation that made him look like a frail bird.
Dominic Monagha is actually a very good choice for Beak but I’m not sure how he will fit into the film.

I’ve read complaints that there seems to be too many characters in the movie and this is turning into a repeat of X3. This is a justified concern. Here is a run down in who is in the movie as of now.
Hugh Jackman - Wolverine
Liev Schreiber - Sabretooth
Ryan Reynolds - Deadpool!
Taylor Kitsch - Gambit
Dominic Monaghan - Beak
Will.i.am - John Wraith
Danny Huston - William Stryker
Lynn Collins - Silver Fox
In a movie with Deadpool, Gambit, and Wolverine it is hard not to believe things are going to get watered down. However, it is a good to keep in mind that we don’t know exactly what the setting is. X:Men Origins: Wolverine takes place about 15 years ago. Assuming it takes place around the time of Wolverine’s bonding with adamantium at Weapon X.
In the comic Sabertooth and Deadpool are also Weapon X experimentations. They all have one mutation in common, the healing factor. Deadpool’s healing factor is actually a result of experimentation on Wolverine.
Gambit was a thief who later joined the X-Men. It is possible that the movie will make him a villain or a Weapon X experiment.
John Wraith being in this movie does suggest another time when Wolverine and Sabertooth worked for the CIA alongside a masked mutant named Maverick. John Wraith was also part of the Weapon X experimentation.
Silver Fox, John Wraith, Sabertooth and Wolverine are all victims of Weapon-X memory tampering.
X-Men Origins: Wolverine hits thearers in May 2009.
