Ryan Reynolds to Appear in Wolverine as Deadpool?

For a long time there have been rumors buzzing about Deadpool appearing in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. For an even longer time has been rumors of Ryan Reynolds lined up to play Deadpool. The idea was even endorsed here at The Braxcave. Now there are early reports that Reynods is indeed going to appear as Deadpool in the Wolverine flick.

Anyone up for a little DEADPOOL?

How about if Ryan Reynolds is playing him?

This one’s supposed to be a secret, but cat’s out of the bag now, Marvel. And I have to say… I think it sounds like fun. I know this has been a character you guys have been developing for years now (hell, I think I pitched a DEADPOOL film back in 2001), and Reynolds is absolutely the right guy for the job.

    reynolds was already in a marvel movie right? blade…
    they should have got someone else.
    he’s a great actor, but for the sake of not using one actor as two characters…hannibal king and deadpool.
    kinda like using halle berry for catwoman and storm.

    But why should that matter? It’s like saying Harrison Ford shouldn’t be Indiana Jones and Han Solo.

    Uh catwoman is from DC comics and storm is x-men, besides I doubt there will even be another blade movie, there’s already been 3 and now there’s a tv series with a entirely different cast.

    :mrgreen: The only problem with Ryan Reynolds being Deadpool is the fact that Deadpool is actually a very ugly man.
    Hopefully they have a good idea for makeup or he never shows his face :P

    but all in all i think ryan reynolds is a badass so he fits the bill..
