Production on the Transformers sequel is already underway as the F/X team at Industrial Light and Magic are working on hordes of robots.
IESB.net got to talk it up with ILM’s Scott Farrar at the VES awards. They also caught up with director Michael Bay who seems to be implying that the Dino-Bots won’t be in the film. But who knows, he is set out to misinform the public about the film.

A number of ILM effects guys talked with IESB at last night’s VES Awards about Transfomers 2 and their involvement in a brand new, top-secret JJ Abrams project.
Scott Ferrar, the visual effects supervisor on Transformers, spoke briefly about the sequel, promising, “a lot more robots”:

Bay went on to talk about the sequel and give some little hints of what we can expect on-screen next summer. Sadly, that’s not going to include dinobots.
