Australian actor, Christian Clark has joined the cast of X-Men Origins: Wolverine. The news comes from an interview with the Australian newspaper, The Adviser.

Exactly who Clark will play is unknown. This may be a Wolverine solo movie but it is rumored to be chock-full of Marvel’s mutants. Rumored to appear are characters like Dead-Pool and possible castings of Gambit. It is may be that Clark has landed the role of a young William Stryker. Originally it was thought that Liev Schreiber would be in that role but it would seem that he is actually playing Victor Creed (Sabertooth) instead. Stryker was played by Brian Cox in X2 and the Wolverine movie is suposed to take place 15 years earlier so Clark may be too young for the role. Besides, Robert Knepper would seem to be a better fit.

So thanks to a gag restraint on Clark’s contract, we are left to wonder who exactly he will be playing.
