Marvel Zombies to Become an Animated Feature?
Tuesday, January 29th, 2008 @ 5:03 pm

There are early reports that Marvel is working on a direct to DVD animated feature of the smash hit Marvel Zombies.
We’ve heard through the grapevine a “Marvel Zombies” direct-to-DVD feature is in development. Unfortunately, we don’t have a status of where the film is at or have a release date.
“Marvel Zombies” began as a comic book mini-series and featured “zombified” versions of pretty much all of your favorite superheroes. Set in an alternate universe (natch), the series most recently introduced Ash (from the “Evil Dead” franchise) to do battle with the likes of undead Wolverine, Spidey, et al.
I really hope this is going to happen. Like a lot of people I love Marvel Zombies. Hearing of an animated feature is pretty exciting. It is too bad that most of the Marvel direct to DVD films have been disappointing. Here’s hoping this one isn’t.

I loved the marvel animated films, I own them all, save for the new Dr Strange one… as I tend to buy them and watch them. So far not disappointed.

You guys must be in the minority. I’ve read nothing but complaints for all the Marvel D2DVDs. Personally I thought Strange was okay but Ultimate Avengers 2 really sucked.

Never read any of those comics, but I’d love to see it.

Yeah, the Dr. Strange animated feature has a much better plot outline then the two Ultimate Avengers movies and including the Invincible Iron Man movie too. Marvel Zombies doesn’t interest me as much, well since I am not a big zombies fan.
