That’s right. The true title of the super secret J.J. Abrams movie
that has been code named Cloverfield is really named…Cloverfield.
Thanks for wasting everyones time Abrams. You are going to have to put something incredibly amazing out there now for me to Blog about this movie again. For months (Since Transformers was released in theaters) people were dying to know what this movie was called. All we could call it was 1-18-08 or the supposed set code name, Cloverfield.
A new trailer aired before the movie Beowul. A fan filmed it with a cell phone and th trailer revealed the true title for the movie. You can find it on YouTube if you want to waste your time on a crappy clip.

They should have just kept it 1-18-08, I think it has more of an impact then ‘Cloverfield’.

Actually, I agree that 1-18-08 is a better name it still needs to be something worth all this bloody wait.
It’s like a bad April fools joke.
The title should have been IMPORTANT, not the freakin working title.

I’m not saying i think the movie will be good or bad I just think one name is better then the other.

No it’s not just a title.
The mystery of the title has been a hype pusher for this movie. For months people wanted to know, what is the real name for Cloverfield. To find out the name really is Cloverfield is a huge let down.
Basically I feel like we’ve been played for fools. Strung along for no reason other than to promote this movie.
