‘Heroes’ Creator Apologizes for Season 2

Thursday, November 8th, 2007 @ 6:55 pm

Tim Kring, creator/producer of Heroes has gone on record to apologize on the direction of the second season of Heroes. In a bold move of accountability and bravery he has come out and picked apart his own show.

Kring, among other things has said that Hiro has been in the past for too long and the West/Claire relationship isn’t a natural fit.

Read all about it over at EW.

I personally think this is an honorable move on Krings part and it shows that he is ready to move forward and correct these mistakes. It shows he has respect for the fans and admitting fault is a great virtue.

Yeah…he also kinda sorta ripped-off the premise to the watchmen.

Im glad he acknowledged those faults though, It was really starting to get on my nerves.

And in turn The Watchmen took from an episode of the Outer Limits. Really though Heroes takes a lot from popular comics. I do enjoy how it unfolds though.

I’m about two episodes behind on Heroes right now. It airs while I’m at work and I haven’t had the time to catch up.

Thatsawesome that he’s going to fix things. But when? Writers are on strike. Once they use up all the scripts, there’s no new Heroes. DGA and SAG have their agreements coming up in June. If the writers want to hold off until those unions have a chance to strike, there may be no new movies or TV shows for quite some time.

  4. Umbrax Says:

Yeah, the strike sure leaves us with some question marks.
