Wanted Trailer

The Wanted theatrical trailer is now available online. You can check it out at Yahoo.

I’ve got to say, I’m  a bit disapointed. I can tell this movie is going to be compared to NBC’s Chuck. I haven’t read the graphic novel, but from what I can tell the movie is very loosely based on it. I always wonder why movie studios buy the right to make a movie based on a comic and then make it only the same in name only.

You should read the graphic novel. The graphic novel is not anything at all like Chuck. Or, if it is, then it’s Chuck gone in the completely opposite direction.

I don’t think the movie will be too close to what the actual story is because in the trailer, Morgan Freeman says “Kill one, save a thousand.” And that’s not at all what the premise of the actual comic book is about. You should read it.

I’ve always heard good things about the book and that it is the “Watchmen” for super villains.
Is Morgan Freeman’s character even in the book?

I don’t know why they even pay for the rights to comics when they change them so much.
