Paddy Considine in Punisher War Zone?

Paddy Considine has been offered a role in the upcoming movie, Punisher: War Zone. Who could he be playing?
Considine made the announcement on his personal forum.
Speaking of selling out, I’ve just been offered PUNISHER 2. Would this be a sell out?
He has a comedic past (Hot Fuzz) and doesn’t look the part, so I don’t think he would be Jig Saw. Here is a list of characters yet to be cast for Punisher: War Zone.

Considine was actually offered the role of Jigsaw.
Wow! Started a wildfire there! Comic book fans eh? The role is that of Jigsaw. I haven’t read the script yet. I shall be doing so today.

comedic past is a major error! He is known for deeply dark and disturbing roles. ‘Dead Man’s shoes’ his career defining role is seen as a British ‘Taxi Driver’ with him in a Travis Bickle role.
