Jon Favreau has announced the end of principal photography on his MySpace group,

What he doesn’t mention is anything about the Sam Jackson rumor or the villain Mandarin.

I’d say it is pretty safe to say that if no cast announcement has been made about Mandarin and they are done with principal photograph, he just isn’t going to be in the film.

Here is a first look at the new Transformers TV show from the Cartoon Network. Character designs are from Derrick Wyatt (Teen Titans). Matt Youngberg (Teen Titans, The Batman) is the supervising director and Marty Isenberg (Danny Phantom., X-Men, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) acts as head writer.

The Autobots in the image are, OPTIMUS PRIME, BUMBLEBEE, PROWL, BULKHEAD and RATCHET.

Let’s face it. Without Stan Lee, a lot of the movies we enjoy just simply wouldn’t exist. He has created so many of the superheroes that are now not only comic icons but Hollywood icons too.
In 2008 Stan Lee will be getting his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
