Pretty much anyone you talk to who has seen Afro Samurai will tell you that they loved the series but was disapointed by the small number of episodes and hurried finale.

Soon fans will have to opportunity to get into the anime thanks to a video game slated for 2008.

The game should have this same kind of spirit, from the brief snippets featured in the short but sweet trailer. Look for Afro to have lots of acrobatics and plenty of swordplay on hand when the game makes it debut in 2008. It may also feature numerous voice talents from the show (including Jackson and Ron Perlman), as well as a full-blown hip-hop soundtrack. Namco even had a rap group perform at the event, grooving along to a piece of animation from the Afro Samurai movie.

Look for more details on the game close to E3. And keep that afro lookin’ sharp.
