The Skrull Invasion: Truth to the Skrullocaust Hoax?

Back in January there was some strange happenings at Wikipedia’s Civil War page. There was a series of edits by a vandal posting false information about an upcomming Marvel event called Skrullocaust. If you want to read more about the incident check out this Braxcave post.
Now with the recent events of New Avenger’s #31 it is looking more like there was some truth to this hoax.
In New Avengers #31 it was revealed that Electra was really a Skrull. Who knows how long ago she was replaced with a skrull and what does this mean for the rest of the Marvel Universe?
Entire story lines can be “rewritten” saying that a Skrull had replaced a Marvel character. Here are a few examples:
Captain America Not Dead - Cap was really a Skrull.
Iron Man and Mr. Fantastic not really Jerks - They were really just skrulls.
Hawkeye not really back from the dead - Just a Skrull impersonating him.
The possibilities are endless. You can even “remask” Spider-Man in the aftermath of The Skrull Invasion. Just tell the world that it wasn’t Peter Parker under the mask, it was just a Skrull pretending to be him.
Ben Morse of Wizard Magazine got to talk with Brian Bendis about The Skrull Invasion and it’s possibilities. You can read the interview here.
There is also a huge article over at comicbookresources.com about the events of New Avengers #31.
