Downey is really shaping up to be Iron Man. Above is Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr) creating his first Iron Man armor. To bulk up for the part, 42 year old Downey lifts weights five days a week and practices martial arts.

Transformers Gets Bitten by the Zombie Bug

It seems that comic fans can’t get enough zombie stories lately, myself included. Perhaps it started with Robert Kirkman’s The Walking Dead. With the success of that book, zombies have been showing up in all kinds of comic books. Most notably is Marvel Zombies. The book has been so successful for Marvel that a prequel is coming out soon and right now Marvel has teamed up with Dynamite Entertainment to make Marvel Zombies vs. Army of Darkness.
Now even alien robots are not safe from zombie stories as IDW releases Transformers: Spotlight: Kup.

Reality TV Hits a New Low with MTV’s Suburban Virgin.

Sell your virginity for 15 minutes of fame.
No joke. MTV has sunk to a new level and are sending out casting calls looking for men 18 and older who are virgins. An MTV rep has described the show as “a reality take on [The 40-Year-Old Virgin] … following men on their quest to find a girl and loose their virginity.”
I’ve seen The 40-Year-Old Virgin and thought it was very funny. But it was fiction. Unlike Suburban Virgin, no one sold their virginity for a taste of fame.
Reality television has brought about a whole new culture of people who will do anything for a little bit of fame.
You can bet people will tune into this garbage too.

Things are really heating up! “Five Years Gone” takes us five years into the future where future Hiro gives us a tour of what he is trying to prevent.

Hiro is disturbed by the grim future he discovers where those with special abilities are hunted and considered threats to society. He attempts to return to his own time, but is caught up in a battle that involves a host of new and oddly familiar faces.

Michael Bay Clears Things Up Regarding Leaked Transformers TV Spot.

Earlier this month a TV Spot for Transformers was leaked out onto the net. The ad featured a scene where Optimus Prime was talking to Megan Fox and Shia LaBeouf (pictured above). It turns out that the voice we heard was NOT Peter Cullen and was something European studios added on their own.

“Kryptonite” Discovered in Serbia

Lex Luthor and Lryptonite

Geologists in Serbia have unearthed a new mineral that shares virtually the same chemical composition as the fictional Kryptonite in Superman Returns.
The mineral will be named Jadarite it’s scientific name is sodium lithium boron silicate hydroxide. This is the same scientific name given to Kryptonite in the movie Superman Returns.
