Iron Man Update from Jon Favreau

Jon Favreau has spoken a few words on the recent Iron Man images that have appeared this month.
Regarding the Iron Man armor image Favreau stated that the “movie will contain both the gray suit and the gold and red.”
Fans were also surious about theUSA Today photo showing Tony Stark forging his armor. “The light you see in the photo on Robert’s chest in the USA Today article is the chest piece glowing through his shirt. He is in captivity and forging the mask of the Mark 1,” said Favreau.
I just got back in town. The company has been on the road for many weeks. We started off in the mountains of Lone Pine which doubled for Afghanistan. We then moved to Edwards Air Force Base. We finally closed out the out of town work with Fontana, CA. Let me confirm a few things: The movie will contain both the gray suit and the gold and red. The light you see in the photo on Robert’s chest in the USA Today article is the chest piece glowing through his shirt. He is in captivity and forging the mask of the Mark 1. Both suits have been built practically by Winston Studios and are busily at work as we speak.

my whole thing with all these marvel movies is why can’t they make the villains look like the villains,they do with the heroes…….For example they could have made the goblin look like the goblin….jeez just take the looks from lord of the rings goblins….at least the face….the same with making the son….should of made him look like the hobgoblin in the book….cmon….they should of started with gwen stacy anyway in the first ,she dies anyway and that would of made a better first movie,then bring MJ in…..and i know i’ll probably get bashed for this and be called a racist but making Nick Fury black is not the way it should be done…now I liked the Kingpin in the Daredevil movie but Nick Fury should not be changed….Thats like changing the Black Panther to a white actor…not…and Wesley Snipes is perfect for the Panther….

sorry I didn’t make an Iron Man comment in an Iron Man post…LOL….oops…..but the comments i made still apply to this movie also…..now I am interested in seeing Iron MAN ,seems like it would be ok…we’ll see …I hope there will be someone major to fight like the Mandarin….

So far the villains for Iron Man are looking good. Jeff Bridges has drastically changed his appearance to look like Obadiah Stane.
I’ve got to say though walking into any comic movie with such a strong purist attitude is asking for disappointment. You must be looking forward to seeing Sandman in Spider-Man 3 though, he looks like he jumped out of the comic. They made him look just like Steve original Ditko design.
