Evey year for one day all the comics publishers treat fans to a selection of free comic books.
This year Free Comic Book Day falls on May 5th.

As it is still early in the year full details on which comics will be available on FCBD have not been released.
However to the right is a few comics that will be out on FCBD.
Both Marvel and DC will be giving away two comics instead of just one.

DC’s teo titles are JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA #0 and THE LEGION OF SUPER-HEROES IN THE 31ST CENTURY #1.
Get your hands on JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA #0 if you can. It is written by Brad Meltzer, with art by Eric Wight, Dick Giordano, Tony Harris, George P’rez, J.H. Williams III, Luke McDonnell, Paul Neary, Gene Ha, Rags Morales, Ethan Van Sciver, Kevin Maguire, Adam Kubert, Dan Jurgens & Kevin Nowlan, Jim Lee, Howard Porter & Dexter Vines, Andy Kubert & Jesse Delperdang, Phil Jimenez & Andy Lanning, and Ed Benes & Sandra Hope, and a cover by Michael Turner.

Marvel’s two books are AMAZING SPIDER-MAN: SWING SHIFT and MARVEL ADVENTURES THREE-IN-ONE. Marvel adventures books are aimed towards a younger audience so scoop this one up for the kid(s) in your life.

May 5th will be the 6th annual FCBD. If you want to pick up some free books just visit your local comic book store on May 5th.
Every store may do things a little different. You may find a table or a rack set up just for the free books.
If you collect comics already I recommend picking up a free comic that you are not familiar with, just to see what you may be missing.
