Invincible Iron Man

Iron Man movie on DVD

Tony Stark goes through a lot of different armors in this movie. Mostly on that looks similar to Iron Man’s first appearance.
If you are expecting to see a lot of the Red and Gold Armor above, you’d probably want to wait and watch the live action movie in 2008.

Past and present collide in this epic adventure that reveals the origin of Iron Man. While raising the ruins of a long buried Chinese kingdom, billionaire inventor Tony Stark digs up far more than he bargained for. He unleashes an age-old prophecy that foretells the resurrection of the Mandarin, the emperor of China’s darkest and most violent dynasty. In order to confront the destructive force, Tony creates an armoured suit infused with high-tech weaponry. To stop the evil that he himself has raised from the earth, Tony must become his greatest invention ever - Iron Man! The newly born champion must travel to the four corners of the earth to battle the Mandarin’s henchmen, the Elementals’ four magical warriors who harness the power of the elements - earth, water, wind, and fire - with deadly chemistry. But is the Iron Knight, as he is known in the prophecy, strong enough to defy fate and turn back the malevolent forces hell-bent on earth’s destruction? www.amazon.com

Available Tuesday the 23rd.

Comics

Wolverine #50

Wolverine

The Buzz is that this is going to be the final battle between Wolverine and Sabertoooth. If that it so, then we can expect some long time loose ends to be ties before the final slice.
Jeph Loeb begins writing on this title and is joined by Simone Bianchi.

“EVOLUTION,” PART 1
A DOUBLE-SIZED SPECIAL 50TH ISSUE! WITH SPECTACLAR WRAPAROUND COVER BY BIANCHI!
Superstar Jeph Loeb (Batman: Hush) is joined by future superstar Simone Bianchi for the biggest, best and, quite possibly, last battle between Wolverine and Sabretooth! These sworn foes have been locked in an endless grudge match that goes back longer than either can remember — or even imagine. The key to victory is eons old, and it’s certain to rock their world. Think you’ve seen Marvel’s fiercest go toe-to-toe before? Those were just warm-ups. Also featuring a 12-page backup story “PUNY LITTLE
MAN,” by Loeb and superstar Ed McGuinness (Superman/Batman): He’s big, he’s green, he’s mean, and he just got his mitts on Logan. Now THIS is gonna hurt.

Yeah Iron Man gets a big “Meh” from me too. Nothing fantastic there. Could have been better if the “original” armor wasn’t the main armor.

Heroes tonight is going to be so awesome. Like half the show is on the net in small doses already. On thing they never showed very much online yet is Christopher Eccleston. I love this guy. Knowing that he will have some kind of “mentor” status is a good indication that he will be a regular character too.
