2007’s Smokin Comic Movies.

2006 was a bit disappointing when it came to comic movies. We had Superman Returns and X-Men: The Last Stand. Both movies were hyped and highly anticipated, but both movies were also a big disappointment for many fans. These two films decided to say screw the comics that made them and take the liberty to do awful things like give Superman a son and kill main characters for no good reasons.

But have no fear 2007 is here and it is time for payback!

It was announced that the trailer of Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer would play exclusively with “Night at the Museum” and later on the web.
“Later” has come and now all can see this excellent peek at the Silver Surfer.
Most people didn’t like the first FF movie, but this trailer has actually got me really excited to see this movie.
Silver Surfer looks great!

Few comic events see mainstream interest like this one.
Stephen King’s popular Dark Tower series is going into prequel mode with the help of Marvel comics. The Dark Tower comics will be written by Robin Furth and Peter David with art by Jae Lee Stephen King himself is overseeing the project.

Marvel comics has produced a trailer to wet the appetite until the first issue hits in February.
