At the beginning of the year the new “Iron-Spidey” costume was revealed. After Marvel’s Civil War, Fans expected it to be hung in the closet and Peter would be back in the “red and blues”. Instead, the events of Civil War will bring about the fan-favorite black costume.
The big question is, is it just a black costume, or is it the symbiote?
Spider-Man has seen a lot of changes lately. He’s been “killed” and reborn, enhanced and more spider-like than ever. He is stronger and more agile than ever able to jump higher, see in the dark and he even has the ability to shoot webs with out the web shooters he created as a teen.
He was given a new red and gold costume by Tony Stark (Iron Man) that advanced his abilities even further.
The biggest change in Spider-Mans life is that he has recently reviled to the world that he is Peter Parker.
This newest change, returning to the black costume, seems to be timed right for the new Spider-Man movie that hits theaters in May. The movie features the black (symbiote) costume.
