I figured I would take advantage of my blog and express my taste in movies. I’m not a big collector of DVD’s by no means, but I do buy movies that I really like and I buy just about any movie based on a comic book. “From My DVD Collection” will be nothing more than me talking about some of my favorite movies that I have in my collection.

So here is my first installment, Evil Dead II.

Evil Dead II: Dead by Dawn is a “B” horror flick from 1987. It is the second part of the Evil Dead Trilogy and has a huge cult following. The movie is directed by Sam Raimi, who is now well known by the mainstream thanks to his work on the Spider-Man films.

The film star Bruce Campbell who plays Ash. Ash takes his sweetheart Linda out to a cabin for some time alone. Unfortunately for them a great Evil has come over the woods that the Cabin resides in.

I hadn’t watched Evil Dead II until after seeing the third part of the trilogy. I was introduced to the film by a friend of mine sometime in the 90’s and fell in love with it. I still laugh through out the movie. Bruce Campbell is such a physical actor, its great.
