Heroes

What if one day your ordinary life was changed when you realized you have extraordinary powers?

They thought they were like everyone else… until they woke with incredible abilities. In Japan, a lowly office worker can teleport at will. In New York, a struggling artist can paint the future. In Los Angeles, a discontented beat cop can hear the thoughts of others. Elsewhere, a high school cheerleader discovers she is unbreakable and a single mom realizes she has a powerful alter ego. Heroes chronicles the lives of these people and the lives of others like them – whose destiny just might be saving humankind.

Any comic or sci-fi fan will really enjoy this show, but Heroes is a story that will connect with any audience.
Anyone who’s read an X-Men book will see the similarities from the start but the show is no X-Men imitator.
The show is very down to earth. It is about extraordinary things happening to ordinary people. This is very character driven and the pilot takes the time to show the life path of its characters. Heroes feels more like the Twilight Zone than the X-Men.
I’ve watched the pilot and I have to say I am really looking forward to the rest of the series. Judging from the pilot I believe the show has the potential to be as successful as LOST and even develop a cult like fan base.

Here is the trailer for Heroes.

I am DEFINATELY going to be onboard for this one. Like you, I have been waiting for this one to come out. I don’t have time to watch the video, but if it’s the one with the cheerleader…it’s freaky.
