The 80’s was a fantastic time to be a kid. Even though there was no school, kids would still wake up early every Saturday to watch their favorite cartoons. Every cartoon had a toyline and a theme song.

Take a trip back into time and watch the openings of these 80’s cartoons.

In no particular order here are 10 of the 80’s greatest action cartoons.

M.A.S.K.

ThunderCats

Voltron

The Real GhostBusters

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

C.O.P.S.

Robotech

He-Man and the Masters of the Universe

Transformers

G.I. Joe

What about Silver Hawks or Dino Riders? Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends?

But I used to watch COPS with my little brother. It was at the same time as The Brady Bunch, so we would skip between channels really fast and get, “Here’s a story… of a lovely Lady- Fighting crime… in a future time.”

    Good times. good times.
