Aquaman is a hit and it isn’t even on T.V. yet.

The pilot for Aquaman hit iTunes a couple of weeks ago and it debuted in the No. 1 spot. It has dropped to Number. 5, but that’s still quite impressive.

The pilot stars Lou Diamond Phillips, Ving Rhames, and Justin Hartley as the popular DC comics character, Aquaman.

Bad digital FX and weak story telling really made “suspension of belief” hard for me. But I think if they choose not to use this pilot as a first episode and tweak the characters and plot, Aquaman could be the next “Hercules” or “Buffy.”

I bought it, but just haven’t watched it yet. I am definately into the idea though. Hmmm, I’ll probably watch it by the weekend.
