Wednesday, August 2nd, 2006 @ 12:27 am

On a recent episode of “The Colbet Report” during “The Word” segment he told viewers to find the Elephant page on Wikipedia and edit it so it states, “the numbers of elephants has tripled in the last six months.”
Wikipedia’s page on Elephants had more than 100 edits and is now protected so only System ops can edit the page.
The Stephen Colbert and The Colbert Report Wikipedia pages have also been locked.

Hehehe! That was hilarious! And so many truths in there, it’s not even funny.
Huh?
(I see a certain Cmdrkeenkid was one of the editors… Wonder if it’s ATS’?)

Interesting.
I can’t imagine many people with that name. They are pretty new to Wikipedia too, only 4 edits so far.
