I haven’t read a Superman book in about ten years, around the time that “Death of Superman” was new on the shelves. I was drawn to this book by the creative team Grant Morrison and Frank Quitely. I really enjoyed their run on “New X-Men” and I’m really loving their take on Superman,

For Fathers day my wife bought me a DVD writer for my computer. A very cool present for me to add onto my computer. I figured installing it would be a snap. This would be the first time I’ve opened up my tower. I had purchased a Dell about 6 months ago to replace my 6 year old HP. With the HP I had to unscrew the back to lift up the shell, so I assumed the Dell was the same.
So I unplug my Dell and place it on the table to start unscrewing the back. The thing is, there were no screws. The back of the shell was bolted on with rivets. So I call up my brother in-law who isn’t computer savvy but is known for ripping apart gadgets. He tells me to remove rivets I need to drill them out. So that is what I did. It was a huge pain in the ass but after about an hour, I drilled out all the rivets. After that I tried to slide off the shell but it as going no where. After another 20 minutes trying to take off the shell it wasn’t budging until I placed the tower on my lap and pushed and pulled and finally, a little bit lifted off. I was able to peek under the shell and could see that the side that came off was blocked and I couldn’t do a thing.
After about two hours of messing around and almost wrecking my computer I find a little switch on the back that allows a panel to be removed.
ARGG!

“It is important for the human race to spread out into space for the survival of the species,” Hawking said. “Life on Earth is at the ever-increasing risk of being wiped out by a disaster, such as sudden global warming, nuclear war, a genetically engineered virus or other dangers we have not yet thought of.”

Bripe Klmun has alerted me to a teaser for the new Transformers movie at Transformersmovie.com.

All it takes is an eye and some music to get me going. LoL

The teaser brought me memories of all the CGI transformer videos circulating on the net.
Maybe the most popular vid is this one.

Many on the net believed this to be an actual animation for the movie but it is not.
The video features a familiar looking truck transforming into a robot.
