Yes it has arrived. Today is 06/06/06.

Revelation 13:16-18:
“He also forced everyone, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on his right hand or on his forehead, so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of his name. This calls for wisdom. If anyone has insight, let him calculate the number of the beast, for it is man’s number. His number is 666.”

This takes me back to the 90’s 1999 to be exact. Everyone was worried that the year 2000 would mark the end of the world. That was a concern even before news of Y2K went mainstream.
I remember thinking that the worst case scenario would be that crazy people would hit the street. Because they believed 2000 would be the end they would create all kinds of problems. But I don’t even remember cases of that happening.
June 6, 2006 brings about the same concerns of fanatics causing chaos in the streets.

But will 06/06/06 really bring about the end of the world or some kind of catastrophe?
Well what happened last time our calendar hit 06/06/06 back in 1906?
Nothing very eventful.

So what will happen 06/06/06?

It will also be the National Day of Slayer.
About 352,800 babies will be born.
This girl will have her 6th birthday.

Really it is just another Tuesday.
See you in 100 years when 06/06/06 comes around again. Maybe by then people will realize that such a date is irrelevant.
