My living room set up.

Monday, June 5th, 2006 @ 12:41 pm

I took yesterday off from blogging and I now have my living room set up exactly as I want.
It may not be ideal for everyone but it is perfect for me.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

1. My computer’s speaker system. Also includes a subwoofer at the bottom right.
2. “TV” speaker system.
3. VCR with “TV antenna.” The VCR is connected to the Monitor (7) and to the “TV” speaker system (2).
4. Playstation 2. The PS2 is wired into the VCR (3).
5. Computer game pads. The game pads are set up just like the Xbox controllers. They are mainly used for playing N64 roms on my computer.
6. Computer tower. Nothing fancy or worth bragging about LoL.
7. 7 LCD flatscreen monitor. The monitor has PIP and is connected to the computer tower (6) and the VCR(3).
8. Wireless keyboard and mouse. These allow me to kick back on the living room couch and watch movies, surf the net, blog, and post on ATS.

“do you use your computer monitor as a tv???”

    Right.
Most of the time I just have the TV running in the PIP while I’m doing computer stuff (as seen in the photo). I don’t spend much time watching TV. I don’t have cable and only get 5 channels. Most of the “TV” I watch I just download on to my PC.

“atleast buy a custom PC case, one with secksy LEDS”

That would look pretty cool in there.
I need to pick up some black construction paper to cover up the back and hide the wires.

I love the little fairies in ring candle holder you have there. :P

I was going to have the fairies as number 9 :D
