Getting fit.

Ever since I was a teenager I’ve been overweight.
At my heaviest I’ve been 220lbs on my 5’9’’ frame.
Almost a month and a half ago I decided I need a change.
So far I’ve lost around 20 lbs.
My method of weight loss is by counting/cutting calories.
Everyday I wake up and go for a 30 minute bike ride.
My breakfast is usually a cup of V8, a rice cake, a Mug of Green Tea, a multivitamin, and an Omega 3 supplement. All together about 120 calories.
For lunch I have to share with my three year old son. It could be anything really. I just try and keep it under 450 calories.
At supper time, again it may be anything, 1000 calories max.
About an hour after supper I go for another 30 minute bike ride.
For the most part the only meat I have is turkey or salmon. Other than that I’ve been trying “vegetarian” foods. I love hamburgers so instead I will have a veggie burger. They are pretty good. I love pizza too (lol) so sometimes I will make my own. From the grocery store I will get a “thin crust” pizza shell, pizza sauce, vegetarian pepperoni, mushrooms, and part skim mozzarella.
I intend to keep with my diet until September. Getting under the 200lb mark felt good. I can’t wait ‘till I’m under 180, that was how much I weighed in High School.

Motivation is the key, keep up the good work. If you enjoy tea, might I suggest trying white tea? It is loaded with cancer-fighting antioxidants, and it boosts your immune system more so then the green(a plus is the taste is sweeter)

Thanks Eden.
I’ve been drinking Green tea for a long time now. I start my day with a big mug of it.
I buy white tea every now and then. It is funny that you mention it. I just bought a big box of white tea. LoL
