Avatars on ATS.
Friday, May 26th, 2006 @ 2:58 am
There is defiantly no shortage of “avatar artists” on ATS.
Thanks to people sharing their talents, ATS members have the best avatars on the net.
Found on the Member art board, are several threads created by members just to make avatars for others.

If you have an image editing program like Photoshop it can be pretty easy to make an avatar.
First you must be sure to follow ATS’s Avatar and Signature Guidelines.
Dimensions of the avatar can be no larger than 160 pixels wide, by 320 pixels tall and the file size can be no larger than 75k.
There are a few other rules to follow as well.
1) No photos of persons wearing less than shirt-and-shorts.
2) No artwork (non-photo) of persons wearing less than bathing attire.
3) No persons, or lnks to persons in a sexually suggestive pose.
5) No persons engaged in what would be considered an obscene gesture.
6) No persons pointing weapons at the viewer of the image.
7) No images or links to images containing blood or gore.
No images or links to content containing people involved in an illegal act.
9) No images or links to images containing illegal objects.
10) No images that are taunting in nature toward any person or group of persons.
11) Other content, which at the discretion of forum staff, is designed to be vulgar, obscene, or offensive to the majority of ATS and BTS visitors and members.
Making Avatars for other members is the most fun I’ve had on ATS. I’ve had the pleasure of making 100s of avatars, mostly of the comic book theme.
I started my avatar thread in February 2005. When I first joined ATS I was really blown away by avatars made by ZeddicusZulZorander, UK Wizard, and JAK.
It wasn’t long after creating my own thread that I realized that ATS was full to the brim with artistic talent.
Now there are many threads dedicated to avatar art. You can find them all on one post too. If you are in need of a new avatar check out ATS Free Avatars
