Another Comic movie I’m really looking forward to is Ghost Rider. Yesterday the trailer hit the web.

I’ve been posting news abut this movie on BTS since way back in January last year.

The movie is directed by Mark Steven Johnson, who did the Elektra and Daredevil (*groan*) movies.
David S. Goyer is an executive producer and is writing for Ghost Rider. He is best known for the Blade movies and Batman Begins (Yeah!)
Hopefully they balance each other out and put together a kick ass movie.
Nicolas Cage is playing the lead, Johnny Blaze/Ghost Rider. Sam Elliott is in the film credeted as the “Caretaker”

Meanwhile in the comic world, Marvel is launching another Ghost Rider series. Ghost Rider #1 hits the shelves on July 12th.
The book is written by Daniel Way with pencils from Javier Saltares and Mark Texeria.
Collectors should watch out for a variant cover done by Mark Silvestri.
